Chuck Zimmaro Bios

Chuck Zimmaro started diving in 1966.  He has spent nearly 35 years diving the shipwrecks off of New York, New Jersey, Virginia and North Carolina coasts.  He is a certified scuba instructor who has conducted classes at various levels at Temple University, St. Joseph’s University, the University of Pennsylvania and most recently at Ursinus College.  He has appeared on the History Channel's Modern Marvels and Time Machine.   He has given presentations at the Beneath The Sea^© conference and for the Boston Sea Rovers^© clinics.  He has been diving the Texas Tower 4 site for over 30 years and was the designated mission specialist for submersible operations on two NOAA funded submersible expeditions to the wreck of Texas Tower #4.  His articles, drawings and photographs have appeared in Skin Diver, Sport Diver, Scuba Times, Northeast Dive News, Sea Classics and other magazines and books both in the United States and in Europe.
